Black Bean Salsa







Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced or 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  •  1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  •  1 (15-ounce) can black beans, or 1 can baked beans.
  •  1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1.    Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Add onion, oregano, garlic,.
  2.    Cook 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3.  Stir in soy sauce, beans,; bring to a boil.
  4.  Cook 7 minutes or until liquid almost evaporates. Sprinkle with black pepper.
  5.  You can also use 1 rasher of bacon, and include a chilli, or chilli powder.(use    sparingly)
