Ingredients
- 1/3 cup cornflour
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
- 750g green king prawns, peeled, tails intact, deveined
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 1 long red chilly, thinly sliced
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Directions
Preparation: 15min › Cook: 10min › Ready in: 25min
1.
Combine
cornflour, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add half the prawns. Toss to coat,
shaking off excess.
2.
Heat
half the oil in a large, non-stick frying pan over high heat. Cook prawns,
stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes or until pink. Repeat with remaining cornflour
mixture, prawns and oil.
3.
Place
prawns on a plate. Top with coriander, chilly and onion. Serve.
Note
Coat
prawns in cornflour mixture just before cooking to avoid coating becoming soggy.
